what is LDL and HDL Cholesterol ?

  • LDL ( Low Density Lipoprotein) is a Bad Cholesterol . If your LDL number high, it can increase the risk of atherosclerosis or a hardening of the arteries, stroke and heart disease. It's can forming plaque inside the artery walls. Plaque is a hard and thick substance that can narrowing the artery.
  • HDL ( High Density Lipoprotein ) is a Good Cholesterol. It's play a very important role to prevent the formation of plaque. HDL transport cholesterol from the artery wall and excrete through the liver. High level of HDL and low level of LDL can prevent from the heart disease and stroke.
